Spotlight: Guest of Honour Gaurav Sharda
A nationally recognised technology and people leader, Gaurav serves as CTO of Beacon Mobility – one of the largest special-needs student transportation providers in the United States, operating approximately 14,000 vehicles across 25 states and serving more than 350,000 students daily. Since joining in 2021, he has spearheaded large-scale AI-driven modernisation across HR, IT, and operations, earning the prestigious 2025 U.S. National Innovation Award, jointly presented by School Transportation News and the National School Transportation Association. Before Beacon Mobility, Gaurav held senior technology leadership roles at Life Time Inc. and General Mills, and has consulted for Microsoft and Comcast. A passionate advocate for people-first technology, he brings deep expertise in enterprise AI adoption, HR transformation, and responsible innovation.
